Planning and Tracking from start to implementation • • • • • (bewertet mit 4 von 5 Punkten) This book gives lot of usefull hints how to manage agile projects with a single team or integrated with multiple teams. It starts with nearly half of the pages with planning the development process and gives a summary of the key facts presented in the chapters. Mr. Cohn chooses not the 'one fits all' way of describing the way to a successful finished project. The book got 4 stars out of 5 because the tracking of the agile process is captured in short on 30 pages, which, in my opinion, is not enough, because the changes and difficulties, that occure while the projects is running, are not fully anticipatable. How to cope with such problems was not part, maybe not the intention of the book. Additionally i expected the chapter "Planning the Multiple-Team Project" to be little broader, because i do interact with other teams and those do not neccessarily use the agile toolbox. The book does not cover the incoporation of teams with an other project approach, sadly. A case study does a good round up for the ideas proposed and gives a practical overview of the things written.
